Nayagarh: The Dasapalla railway station in Nayagarh district of Odisha is slated to be inaugurated today by the Central Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

According to reports, the much-awaited Dasapalla railway station will be inaugurated today. Central Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is scheduled to inaugurate it at 10 am. Dasapalla station has been decorated for this event. Kandhamal MP Dr. Achyuta Samanta and Dasapalla MLA Ramesh Chandra Behera shall be present for the event.

Extensive preparations have been made for the fulfillment of the long-time dream of the local people. Security has been tightened with all arrangements on the part of the railway department, local administration and police.

Earlier, the train was running on this line till Nuagaon, the distance from Nuagaon railway station is about 15.5 kilometers. The Dasapalla railway station will start from today. Four trains will run from Dasapalla to Puri and Bhubaneswar and its schedule has been announced by East Coast Railways subsequently.
