Cuttack: 12-year old boy killed for denying unnatural sex

Cuttack: Jagatpur Police busted the murder case of the 12 year old boy of Cuttack district in Odisha. His throat slit body had been found in a pool of blood on December 17. Since then Police were investigating the case. Today Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra informed about the case in a press meet.
The 12-year old minor boy was killed after denying offer for unnatural sex by the accused, Police informed.
The accused has been identified as Jogendra Panda alias Babula Panda. Jagatpur Thana Police arrested him today. The blood stained sickle used in the crime and a gamuchha have been seized.
As per reports, the accused had forced the deceased minor boy to keep unnatural physical relationship. However, as the kid denied, the accused first hit him with a wooden plank in his head and later slit the boy’s throat with the help of a sickle.
Following the gruesome murder, the accused was hiding in a house in the crime scene area.
On December 16, after the minor boy’s body was found, the scientific team visited the crime scene to collect evidences. The case was being investigated by the Special Squad of Jagatpur Police Station.
