Crude oil pipeline of IOCL bursts in Paradip

Paradip: Hundreds of litres of crude oil got wasted as the crude oil pipeline of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) burst near the IOCL Township in Paradip of Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district on Thursday.

A portion of the Paradip-Haldia pipeline of the IOCL burst, said sources adding that hundreds of litres of crude oil outflew towards the nearby farmlands following the mishap.

Meanwhile, the local administration has prohibited the movement of vehicles on a road near the spot of the incident with an aim to avoid any untoward incident. Besides, a team of Fire Services personnel and local police have been engaged to restore normalcy.
