On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, construction work of chariots for Jagannath Rath Yatra commenced. Rituals, including Rath Anukul were performed.
The world famous Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra will be held on June 25 this year.
