Conference of Vice Chancellors of all government universities underway

Bhubaneswar: A conference of Vice Chancellors of all government universities take place on Thursday, said reliable reports. There is a schedule of a meeting at Raj Bhavan at 11:30 am.

The conference will discuss the implementation of the National Education Policy. Governor and University Chancellor Raghubar Das will preside over the conference, said reports in this regard.

Besides discussing on the National Education Policy, organization of exams, publication of results etc. will be given priority and discussed in detail.

Similarly, the Conference of Vice Chancellors shall have discussions on betterment of research programs in universities, improvement of educational environment, promotion of world class universities etc, will be discussed. In addition, there is a program of discussion with the Chancellors on various other issues.

This will be the first Chancellor conference after Governor Das assumed charge as the new Governor of Odisha.
