Cold wave in Odisha: 10 cities record temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius

G.Udayagiri was the coldest city in Odisha with temperature at 5.8 degrees Celsius. Mercury fell below 10 degree Celsius in 10 cities.

Bhubaneswar: The cold wave has subsided in some places of Odisha. The temperature in 10 cities of the state has been recorded below 10 degrees Celsius. The G.Udayagiri was the coldest city in the state with minimum temperature falling to 5.8 degrees Celsius.

The temperature in Phulbani is at 7 degrees Celsius, in Korei at 7.7, Similiguda and Daringbadi recorded 8 degrees Celsius each. Keonjhar, Sundergarh, Anugul, Nabarangapur, and Bhawanipatna recorded temperatures of 8.8 degrees Celsius, 8.9 degrees Celsius, 9 degrees Celsius, degrees Celsius, 9.5 degrees Celsius, 9.5 degrees Celsius, respectively. Meanwhile, the twin cities Cuttack, and Bhubaneswar have recorded temperatures of 14.4 and 14.8 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Though the effects of the cold will be lower, the onset of dense fog will continue as usual in the state.
