Malkangiri: A BSF jawan sustained critical injuries when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded at Dulduli jungle near Tulsi Pahad Jungle in Malkangiri district.
The incident took place when BSF team and police carried out a combing operation at Gugapadar jungle under Maithili police limits, informs BSF PRO.
The injured jawan was shifted to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The search operations are on in the vicinity, informs South-Western Range DIG Rajesh Pandit.
