It is worth mentioning that, over 60 passengers along with 40 bikes were stranded in the middle of Chilika lake on Wednesday afternoon. Reports say that, the boat they were travelling in got stuck due to a technical glitch.
Reportedly, the boat was enroute Satpada from Janhikuda when it developed a technical glitch, which led to stranding in the water.
All the passengers are reportedly safe. Further it is worth mentioning that the engine of the boat developed a snag. Presently the people have been rescued.
