Boat man takes tourist for dolphin sighting in Chilika Lake, goes missing after falling into water
In an unfortunate incident, a boatman reportedly went missing after accidentally falling into the Chilika Lake from the boat near Krushna Prasad in Puri district.
Bhubaneswar: In an unfortunate incident, a boatman reportedly went missing after accidentally falling into the Chilika Lake from the boat near Krushna Prasad in Puri district.
According to reports, the boat driver Bikram Jali had taken five tourists went to Magarmuhan for dolphin sighting. However, he lost his balance and fell into the deep water and went missing.
Fellow boatmen rushed to the spot after hearing the creams of the tourists for help and rescued them.
On being informed, the local authorities along with some boatmen rushed to the spot and conducted a search operation to trace Bikram. However, the search operation was halted due to darkness.
