BJD to celebrate 27th Foundation Day today
Odisha's BJD is set to observe is 27th Foundation day today. To mark the occasion, the party has planned a lot of events across the state.
Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s ruling party BJD is set to observe its 27th Foundation day today. Every constituency, block, and party of every city will observe the occasion today. Today, BJD leaders and workers will take pledge to build ‘Nabin Odisha.’
BJD MP Dr Sasmit Patra told ANI, “Today is the 27th Foundation day of the Biju Janata Dal, and there are 26 years of service that we complete today. We re-dedicate ourselves through a pledge in the party office today to work for Nabin Odisha, and to become the number 1 state in the country.”
On this occasion, a cycle rally will be held from Anand Bhawan in Cuttack to Sankha Bhawan in Bhubaneswar. To mark the occasion of BJD’s 27th Foundation Day, the party has also planned a lot of other events across the state. These programs will include blood donation camps, marathon, and tree planting programs as well.
Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik will give valuable pieces of advice to the party leaders and workers for the upcoming 2024 elections. The foundation of BJD was celebrated in Puri last year.
Earlier, CM Naveen had said that BJD can continue to serve the people of the state for a hundred years with the blessings of masses. He also mentioned that under BJD’s leadership, Odisha has witnessed the most successful years in terms of socio-economic development.
On the occasion of BJD’s 27th Foundation Day, the focus lies on what important announcement will be made today. Till date, BJD has won five times in a row in Odisha. The party is now gearing up to serve the state for the sixth time.
