Bhubaneswar: Amid the sensational suicide case of BJB Autonomous College girl student Ruchika Mohanty allegedly due to ragging, another student of BJB Junior College has brought ragging allegations against five seniors.
Reportedly, the victim has been identified as Rudra Narayan Patra, a student of plus 2 second year.
Rudra has filed a complaint with Badagada Police Station against his five seniors alleging that he was beaten and was forced to do sit-ups.
The Badagada Police has initiated a probe into the matter based on a written complaint. However, the college authorities have not yet responded to this incident.
It is pertinent to mention that, Plus- Three girl student Ruchika Mohanty’s body was found hanging inside the hostel room on July 2. A suicide note was also recovered from the spot. In the handwritten suicide note, the first-year student of Plus Three Arts Stream alleged that she ended her life after being fed up with the harassment meted out at her by three of her senior girl students.
