Bhubaneswar-Mumbai Air India Flight Makes Emergency Landing At Raipur Airport

Bhubaneswar: An Air India flight bound for Mumbai had to make an emergency landing at airport in Raipur due to a technical snag.

The Air India flight A321 was flying from Bhubaneswar to Mumbai when the incident took place. The aircraft was carrying 89 passengers.

The pilot immediately contacted the Air Traffic Control (ATC) located at the Raipur airport. The aircraft made an emergency landing at 5.57 pm with ATC’s permission. Sources said that the flight had to make an emergency landing after it lost one engine. One of the engines of the aircraft reportedly caught fire.
