Bhubaneswar: The Twin City Commissionerate Police has reportedly decided to conduct patrolling at every nook and cranny of Bhubaneswar with an aim to keep a vigil on COVID guideline violators and take stringent action against them.
According to sources, the PCR Vans will conduct patrolling across the State Capital City and take action against those who violate the lockdown restrictions.
The Commissionerate Police took the decision in the wake of the possible third wave of COVID-19.
This was decided during a high-level meeting held under the chairmanship of Police Commissioner S. K. Priyadarshi. Additional DCP, ACPs of different zones and IICs of different police stations coming under the Commissionerate Police attended the meeting.
