Bhubaneswar: Amar Satpathy silenced criticism relating to the allotment of MLA ticket of Barchana to Varsha Priyadarshini and issued a video.
According to reports, Amar Satpathy replied to criticism and said that the decision of the party supremo is the ultimate and should not be criticized. He further urged people not to criticize or comment on Varsha.
Amar added everyone should accept the Chief Minister’s decision. The party has announced the name of Varsha Priyadarshini for Barchana as an MLA candidate and that should be accepted with grace. Through a video message, he thanked the Chief Minister and urged party supporters to maintain decorum within the party.
Amar Satpathy had been elected as the become MLA for six times in Barchana. Not only an MLA, the Chief Minister appointed him as Minister of various important departments as well as the Chief Whip of the ruling party that is Biju Janta Dal (BJD).
Therefore, the decision to issue tickets is entirely the responsibility of the Chief Minister and he advised everyone to accept it. Amar called on the supporters to work for the association without getting upset. Giving a message to those who are speculating, he clarified that he has not left the party nor has any plans to leave the party any time soon.
