75th Republic Day: Odisha Governor Raghubar Das hoists the National Flag in Bhubaneswar
Governor Raghubar Das has hoisted the national flag at Mahatma Gandhi Marg in Odisha's Bhubaneswar on the occasion of 75th Republic Day.
Bhubaneswar: The Governor of Odisha, Raghubar Das has hoisted the national flag at Mahatma Gandhi Marg in Odisha’s capital city of Bhubaneswar on the occasion of 75th Republic Day. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was also present during the flag hoisting ceremony.
Following the hoisting of the national flag, National anthem was sung by everyone present on the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Republic Day parade is being commenced at the Mahatma Gandhi Marg. The parade has been led by IPS officer A.B Shilpa. Apart from Odisha police, ITPB, CRPF, Fire department personnel, ODRAF, Odisha Homeguard, RPF, SSB, OSP, OISF, APR, Traffic, Civil Defense, Sainik School police band and students of various educational institution took part in the parade.
