6799 villages in Odisha do not have mobile services: Tusharkanti Behera
The Minister of Electronics, Information and Technology Odisha said that as many as 6799 villages are yet to get mobile connectivity
Bhubaneswar: The Minister of Electronics, Information and Technology Odisha said that as many as 6799 villages are yet to get mobile connectivity.
Wile answering a question raised in this regard, Tusharkanti Behera the minister of Electronics and Information Technology said that as many as 6799 villages in Odisha are yet to get telecom network, mobile connectivity or internet services.
He further informed that, government land has been distribute free of cost for the erection of mobile towers. He further said that by March 2024 mobile connectivity shall reach all the villages. The Minister gave a written reply in this regard in the Odisha Assembly.
