Odisha: 2 arrested for stealing railway copper wire worth Rs. 7.5 lakh

Two people have been arrested on the charges of stealing railway copper wire in Bhubaneswar the capital city of Odisha.

According to latest reports, two of the accused were arrested for stealing railway copper wire. As much as 915 kg of copper wire was seized from them.

The estimated cost of the loot will be around 7 lakh 32 thousand rupees.

Based on the information, the RPF (Railway Police Force) crime branch team raided a private contractors godown  Mancheswar area of Bhubaneswar. The RPF seized 1206 kg copper wire worth Rs 9 lakh 64 thousand 800 from there.

The organization was later sealed by the RPF Crime Branch, further detailed report in this matter awaited.
