14 injured in group clash over past enmity in Cuttack district

14 people were injured in group clash in Manapur village under the jurisdiction of Kanpur police station in Odisha’s Cuttack district.

Cuttack: In a shocking incident, 14 people were injured in group clash in Manapur village under the jurisdiction of Kanpur police station in Odisha’s Cuttack district. The clash is said to be occurred over past enmity between two families.

The clash escalated to a level where both factions resorted to violence. Four individuals from the warring parties were severely wounded and subsequently shifted to Cuttack hospital.

Of the all injured individuals, four individuals were deemed to be in a critical condition, leading to their transfer to Cuttack’s medical for advanced care. These four individuals were as identified as Sipu Pradhan, Raghunath Pradhan, Pratap Pradhan, and Baideyi Pradhan.

The rest of the individuals involved in the confrontation, comprising both families, have sought medical attention at the local health center.

After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the matter.
