Watch: People loot liquor from car after accident on highway in Bihar

In a bizarre incident, a video of people looting liquor bottles from a car on National Highway 2 in Siwan district of Bihar after the vehicle met with an accident.

Soon after the accident, the driver of the car got off and fled from the scene.

Reports say, the car carrying foreign liquor had collided with another vehicle on the highway on October 30 and passersby had come to offer help and found cartons filled with liqour bottles.

Both locals and passersby looted the vehicle and people can be seen in the video running away while holding multiple bottles.

After receiving information about the incident, Dobhi Police arrived at the spot but the crowd of people looting the liquor bottles was so large, people were found looting in presence of police.

Liquor ban was enforced in Bihar in April 2016.
