The 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's monthly radio address 'Mann Ki Baat' to be broadcast live in UN headquarters in New York.

New Delhi: Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand sculpture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with 100 radios to celebrate 100 episodes of “Mann ki Baat”, at Odisha’s Puri beach.

“Mann Ki Baat,” a monthly radio programme hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was first aired in October 3rd, 2014. The program is broadcasted on the last Sunday of each and every month and has collected a huge following across the world.

This month’s broadcast is especially significant because it is the popular show’s 100th episode. This special episode, which is scheduled to air at 11 a.m. (IST), is expected to be heard by people from all over the world.

The milestone episode is set to leave a mark on the world as it will be broadcast live from the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

During the 99th episode of “Mann Ki Baat,” PM Modi emphasized the uniform organ donation policy in India, which aired on March 26. In addition to this, he also highlighted India’s “Nari Shakti,” or women power and praised the Oscar-winning documentary “The Elephant Whisperers” and its makers.

The most anticipated 100th episode of “Mann Ki Baat” promises to be an inspiring and energizing affair as the Prime Minister shares his thoughts and ideas with the nation.

All India Radio and Doordarshan’s entire network will air the show. Additionally, the programme will be available for streaming on the AIR News website and the Newsonair mobile application.

The monthly radio programme “Mann Ki Baat” led to a “behavioural change” among listeners, during the show, officials associated with a study were quoted by PTI as saying on Saturday.

Following the Hindi broadcast, the programme will be streamed in various regional languages through AIR.
