Mumbai: In recent news, the grounded plane in France carrying about 300 Indian passengers has finally landed in Mumbai after four days. The plane was grounded in France over suspected human trafficking, said reliable reports in this regard.
The Romanian Airbus A340 departed from France on Monday morning. The French authorities permitted to plane to resume its journey on Sunday. Reportedly, the plane was earlier carrying 300 passengers but returned with 276 after 24 of them decided to stay back.
Reports from reliable sources stated that two passengers were not granted permission to depart as they lacked proper authorisation.
Earlier on December 22, the Nicaragua bound plane was grounded in France after receiving an ‘anonymous tip’ about alleged human trafficking. The plane had taken off from Dubai in UAE. It was grounded at the Vatry airport on Thursday over suspected human trafficking.
Reportedly, the passengers included a total of 11 unaccompanied minors and a 21 month child as well. Further, the Indian Embassy in France thanked the French authorities for the quick resolution of the solution.
