Missing teenage girl’s frozen body recovered from river in Ladakh
The frozen body of a missing teenage girl was recovered from river in Ladakh's Zanskar area of Kargil district.
Kargil: The frozen body of a missing teenage girl was recovered from river in Ladakh’s Zanskar area of Kargil district.
The 18-year-old girl identified as Stanzin Dolkar went missing in the Zanskar area on November 26, 2023. After the girl went missing, a written complaint was filed at the police station by her father.
However, on Wednesday, some locals found the dead body of the girl floating on the Zanaskar River. They immediately informed the police about the incident.
After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it for autopsy. Further investigation is underway.
