Man gets stuck between platform and train at Delhi’s Qutub Minar metro station
A man got stuck between the platform edge and the approaching metro train at Delhi's Qutub Minar Metro Station and later died
New-Delhi: A man got stuck between the platform edge and the approaching metro train at Delhi’s Qutub Minar Metro Station and later died.
The incident took place on November 12. The entire scene was captured on CCTV camera and is going viral on social media.
Reports say, the passenger tried to cross the platform via tracks. Meanwhile, the metro arrived and he got stuck between the platform and the metro.
The train operator immediately applied the emergency brakes and the passenger was promptly rescued. The person was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead. His body was later sent to the AIIMS Trauma Centre Mortuary, said a senior police officer.

After the incident, DMRC released an advisory for the passengers advising them not to cross or walk on the metro tracks or enter restricted areas on the stations.
