Kerala lady cop breastfeeds infant of hospitalized mother
The mother of the infant was admitted to the ICU of a hospital for some urgent treatment and thus her children were left with no one to take care
New Delhi: In a rare incident and heart touching exhibition of compassion a lady police officer reportedly breastfed a starving infant in Kerala. The incident has become a subject of discussion while the video has gone viral.
As per reports, the woman was admitted to the ICU of a hospital for some urgent treatment and thus her four children were left with no one to take care. It is to be noted that reportedly the ailing woman’s husband is languishing in the jail these days in connection with some crime.
Accordingly, the four children were brought to the Kochi City Women’s Police Station for assistance. The lady cops in the Police Station provided food to the elder three children. However, a lady police officer named MA Arya from Kochi Women’s Police Station breastfed the infant as it was starving.
Later, reportedly the children were shifted to a childcare home so that they can avail a more suitable environment and care.
Police praised the noble effort of the lady cop and shared picture related to the incident.
