Infiltration bid foiled in Jammu and Kashmir’s Akhnoor, terrorist killed

New-Delhi: One terrorist was killed on Saturday after the troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) foiled an infiltration bid on the International Border (IB) in J&K’s Akhnoor sector.

The army officials in their X post said that one intruding terrorist was killed in the Khour area of Akhnoor sector on the IB in Jammu when alert BSF troops foiled an infiltration bid.

“Terrorists were seen dragging the dead body of the slain militant back into the other side of the IB,” officials said.

“Infiltration bid foiled in IB sector of Khour, Akhnoor. A suspected move of four terrorists was seen through own surveillance devices on the night of December 22-23. Effective fire brought down.
