Happy New Year! India welcomes 2024 with full enthusiasm

India welcomed the New Year 2024 with dazzling fireworks, dance, songs, smile and enthusiasm to which every citizens have joined hands.

New Delhi: India welcomed the New Year 2024 with dazzling fireworks, dance, songs, smile and enthusiasm. People of Odisha also joined the New Year celebrations.

While most of the people celebrated the zero night with their family, still many people from cities like Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur and Sambalpur were seen welcoming the New Year at hotels, restaurants and clubs.

Beautiful fireworks, pylon projections and other activities were part of the celebrations to welcome the New Year 2024.

Meanwhile, the island country, Kiribati, in Oceania continent is the first to welcome the New Year. The country will welcome 2024 at 10:00 am GMT (3:30 pm Indian Standard Time, IST).

Following this the party travels westward, with New Zealand, Fiji, Australia, Japan and South Korea welcoming 2024 next.
