New Zealand welcomes New Year 2024: Check which country celebrates the occasion first and last

The clock is clicking down as whole world is ready to welcome New Year 2024. However, there are country like New Zealand who has already welcomed the New Year, while it is still hours left for the celebration in India.

The island country, Kiribati, in Oceania continent is the first to welcome the New Year. The country will welcome 2024 at 10:00 am GMT (3:30 pm Indian Standard Time, IST).

Following this the party travels westward, with New Zealand, Fiji, Australia, Japan and South Korea welcoming 2024 next.
