Fire breaks out in Superfast Express train in Uttar Pradesh; No casualties reported

A fire broke out in one of the bogies of the New Delhi-Darbhanga Superfast Express on Wednesday evening at Etawah of Uttar Pradesh.

Etawah: A fire broke out in in the S1 coach of the New Delhi-Darbhanga Superfast Express on Wednesday evening.

The train was halted near Sarai Bhupat railway station in Etawah of Uttar Pradesh, when the fire was detected. The fire spread quickly to other coaches.

Seeing the flames, several panicked passengers jumped off the train to save themselves.

Fire engines have been rushed to the spot and firefighters are trying to extinguish the blaze.

No casualties have been reported so far. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
