Cold wave condition expected during 5-11th January in parts of Central India

New Delhi: Cold wave condition is expected during 5th to 11^th January this month in some parts of Central India, said IMD DG on Monday. News Agency ANI reported the information in a X post (formerly Twitter) today.

As per the information, night temperature is expected to fall in between 5^th to 11^th January which is likely to bring cold wave condition in some parts of the Central India, said Dr Mrityunjay Mohapatra, DG, IMD in a statement.

During this period the day temperature is expected to be below normal leading to cold day conditions. This is expected especially in the States like Madhya Pradesh, northern parts of Maharashtra and southern parts of Uttar Pradesh, the IMD DG also said.
