8 arrested in scam offering men to impregnate women in Bihar

The Bihar police have arrested eight people for reportedly luring men into a fraudulent scheme that offered them money for 'impregnating' women

Patna: The Bihar police have arrested eight people for reportedly luring men into a fraudulent scheme that offered them money for ‘impregnating’ women who were not able to conceive a child with their partners.

Reports say, there was a group called ” All India Pregnant Job” who assured men to earn money by impregnating women. The group used to operate through social media platforms.

The accused group charged a registration fee of Rs 799 and then they had kept security money ranging from Rs 5,000 to 20,000.

On being informed about the crime going on, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Bihar conducted a raid on the premises of the mastermind behind the network ,Munna Kumar.

The police were successful in arresting eight members of the racket and some managed to fled from the scene.

During the arrests, the police team seized nine smartphones and a printer from their possession. Later, the police official confirmed that interrogation is on and more arrests are likely to be made.
