Ranchi: After the high drama in Jharkhand, Champai Soren is all set to take oath as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand on Friday, said reliable reports in this regard.

Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan invited Champai Soren to Raj Bhavan to form the government in the state. Champai Soren, JMM leader Hemant Soren has been mandated to demonstrate his majority in a floor test, which will be held within ten days.

Jharkhand Transport Minister Champai Soren, who was named as JMM legislative party leader, after Hemant Soren’s arrest, went to meet Governor CP Radhakrishnan on February 01 at Raj Bhavan.

Earlier, JMM shared a video showing Champai Soren and other party leaders present at Circuit House. Champai Soren and JMM MLAs met Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan at the Raj Bhavan in Ranchi.

After meeting the Jharkhand Governor Champai Soren said to ANI, “We have demanded that the process to start the formation of the Government should begin. He (Governor) said that the process will begin soon…”

After being elected as JMM legislative leader, Champai Soren on February 01 met the president of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Shibu Soren at his residence in Ranchi. Soon after meeting with Shibu Soren, Champai Soren claimed that he has the support of 47 MLAs.

“We will continue to work to safeguard the pride of Jharkhand. We have staked a claim to form the government in the state. We have the support of 47 MLAs. You have seen how the voice of the Adivasis here has been suppressed over the years,” Champai added.
