Jaipur : Renowned educationist and founder of KIIT & KISS in Odisha, Dr. Achyuta Samanta was on Thursday conferred with yet another honorary doctorate degree from the IIS deemed to be University here in Rajasthan.
54-year-old Dr Samanta was conferred the honorary doctorate degree for his outstanding contribution in the field of education and social service. He received the degree at the 8th convocation ceremony of the University held here today.
After receiving the prestigious degree, Dr. Samanta extended his gratitude to the university for recognizing his relentless social service for the last thirty years.
“ I am extremely glad to receive this recognition. But more than that I am so happy to receive this award with Shri Dalveer Bhandari ji, Hon’ble Judge of the International Court of Justice who is also the Chief Guest at the event,” he wrote in his face book page. “Thanks to the University for bestowing this honour on me.”

Dr Samanta, who is also a Lok Sabha MP from Kandhamal Parliamentary constituency, has so far been conferred with honorary doctorate degree from more than 40 universities in India and outside.
