4 dead, several injured after bus plunges onto Railway track from bridge in Rajasthan

Four people died and several left injured after a bus lost control and fell onto the railway tracks below a bridge in Dausa of Rajasthan.

Dausa: In a tragic incident, four people died while several were left injured after a bus lost control and fell onto the railway tracks below a bridge near Dausa Collectorate Circle in Rajasthan.

After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and initiated rescue operation. The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital and the deceased bodies were sent for autopsy.

Rajkumar Kaswa, the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Dausa, reported, “After the accident, 28 people were transported to the hospital, with four of them tragically succumbing to their injuries. Medical professionals are currently attending to the injured. The District Magistrate (DM) has been dispatched to the scene for a thorough investigation into the incident.”

The mishap occurred on National Highway-21, leading to a suspension of train services in the area. Reports suggest that a passenger bus broke through the railings of the bridge and plummeted onto the railway tracks below.

The cops have also initiated a probe into the matter. Further detailed reports are awaited.
