Amid the aftermath of the unrest, former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda demanded a judicial probe led by a high court judge into the government’s alleged “failure” to prevent the violence. He asserted the need to ascertain the truth behind the clashes, including the instigators and the reasons for the government’s apparent delay in taking preventive measures.

On the same day, the Haryana government partially lifted the suspension of mobile internet services from 1 pm to 4 pm in several districts. The internet restriction was relaxed to enable CET/Screening test (Group C posts) candidates to download their admit cards. The areas where partial internet restoration was implemented include Nuh, Faridabad, Palwal, and the territorial jurisdiction of Sub Division Sohna, Pataudi, and Manesar in District Gurugram.

The clashes in Nuh erupted after a religious procession was attacked, leading to the deaths of two home guards and injuring numerous others, including around 20 policemen. The situation has remained tense, prompting further investigation and calls for a thorough judicial inquiry.
