New Delhi: Days before the first phase polling of the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, the Congress party has released its campaign slogan titled ‘Ab Hoga Nyay’ (Now, there will be justice).
The party spokesperson said the slogan is based on the positive feedback received for the concept of NYAY.
“We are seeking justice or Nyay against the injustices committed in the past four years. Those who promised Achche Din only delivered anyay (injustice).” Said Anand Sharma, chairman of the Congress Publicity Committee.
The party has released the campaign video, the lyrics of which have been written by Javed Akhtar and directed by filmmaker Nikhil Advani.

Notably, the Congress manifesto promises to transfer Rs 72, 000 annually to five crore households, increase rural employment under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee (MNREGA) scheme besides a simplified goods and services tax.
“Our campaign does not focuses on income guarantee alone. It is about ensuring nyay to farmers, nyay to youth and nyay to entrepreneurs,” said Sharma.
