Hyperloop capsules can reach Delhi from Bhubaneswar in 1 hour!

After bus, train, ship and then bullet train now a ‘fifth mode of communication’ is in discussion. This is a proposed high-speed transportation using Hyperloop technology. It has been discussed that with this technology, the travel time from Bhubaneswar of Odisha to the national capital Delhi would be around one hour.

The system is designed to transport passengers as well as goods from one point to another with compressed air as its energy source. The travel time can be approximately 120 km/hr.
Each module of the vehicle is connected to the adjacent modules through ball and socket joint.
The system, developed at the Smart Materials, Structures and Systems (SMSS) Lab of IIT Kanpur, has already undergone a successful demonstration at the UP Global Investors Summit 2023 and has received positive feedback from experts in the field.
