  6. Alcohol consumption slows down the functioning of the hypothalamus gland, responsible for regulating body temperature. Alcohol is diuretic in nature and it causes frequent urination hence causing severe dehydration. Alcohol can also cause severe heat stroke.
  7. Coffee or caffeine raises body temperature. It is best to avoid coffee and tea in summers months, because caffeine generates excess heat in the body and caused sever dehydration. It further causes electrolyte imbalance in the body.
