Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri-starrer ‘Bad Newz’ to be released on this date
Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, Ammy Virk-starrer ‘Bad Newz’ is all set to hit the cinemas on July 19. The motion poster and the release date of the movie were revealed on March 18.
‘Bad Newz’, previously titled as ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’, will see Vicky, Triptii and Ammy team up for the first time. The movie has been in making for a while now. Sharing the motion poster, the producer of the film, Karan Johar took to his social media handle and said, “Get ready for the most entertaining hungama – a hilarious once in a billion situation awaits a comedy inspired by true events!! #BadNewz IN CINEMAS 19th July 2024!”
The Dharma Production took its official X (formerly Twitter) handle and said the film to be a “special delivery.”
Directed by Anand Tiwari, the director of ‘Good Newz’, the movie also stars Neha Dhupia. Reportedly, the shooting of the movie was wrapped in July 2023.
Earlier, Vicky Kaushal got injured himself on the sets of his upcoming film ‘Chhava’, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, ‘Chhava’, the film is a period drama, where Vicky will be seen playing Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
‘Chhava’ marks the second collaboration between Utekar and Vicky. The two have previously worked in ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’.
Meanwhile, Triptii Dimri was last seen in Box Office hit movie Animal, where she starred next to Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.
