Korean actor Park Soo Ryun dies after falling from stairs
According to reports, her last rites will take place on Monday, and a procession to honour her will be held on June 13.
Korean actor Park Soo Ryun, who worked in Snowdrop, died after falling from the stairs on June 11. She was 29. The actress was best known for appearing in several musicals, such as The Days We Loved and Siddhartha.
As per OSEN reports, Park was returning home when she fell from the stairs and died. Doctors tried saving her, but she was brain dead. Her sudden death left her family and fans in great shock and pain.
According to reports, her last rites will take place on Monday, and a procession to honour her will be held on June 13.
According to Soompi, the actor’s family members have decided to donate her organs. Her mother said, “Only her brain is unconscious, and her heart is still beating. There must be someone who desperately needs organs. As her mother and father, we will be able to live comforted [by the thought that her heart] has gone to someone and is beating.”
Park Soo Ryun was born in 1994 and was popular in the world of Kpop and Kdramas. She made her debut in 2018. In Snowdrop, Park Soo was seen playing the role of one of the students at the university.
Meanwhile, Park Soo Ryun’s mortuary has been prepared in Suwon Hospital, Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Centre’s funeral hall, reportedly. The funeral will start at 4 p.m. KST on Monday and be extended until Tuesday morning.
