Hema Malini and Esha Deol Grace The Ramp At Lakme Fashion Week 2018

Mumbai: Mother-Daughter duo Esha Deol and Hema Malini walked the ramp at the grand finale of Lakme Fashion Week 2018 in Mumbai. Both the actors were sporting vibrant traditional outfits by Assamese designer Samjukkta Dutta.

While Esha wore a white skirt paired with a pink blouse and a dupatta draped in a Gujarati style, Hema looked regal in a multi-colored silk saree complimented by traditional bangles, kamarbandh, and earrings. Both sported ornate maang-tikas, floral gajras, red bindi and heavy makeup.

Esha Deol took to Instagram and shared a  really beautiful picture in which she is seen sashaying the ramp with her mother Hema Malini.

In a brief media interaction post the event, Hema said that she was glad to have walked the ramp for a designer who has been working towards the empowerment of women in Assam. The Dreamgirl star also revealed that she will be promoting Esha’s upcoming film Cakewalk and encouraged Esha to speak about the film and the character she is playing in it.

Notably, the finale of Lakme Fashion Week 2018 was a gala affair with celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shikha Talsania, Gurmeet Chaudhary, Sonu Sood and Kriti Kharbanda walking the ramp for various established and new designers.
