Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan To Start Shooting For ‘The Zoya Factor’

Mumbai: Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan are all set to start shooting for their film ‘The Zoya Factor’. Directed by Abhisekh Sharma of Tere Bin Laden fame, the film is a cinematic adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s novel of the same name.

Announcing the commencement of the shoot, Sonam took to Twitter and wrote-

Super excited to shoot for “The Zoya Factor” with Dulquer Salman. Can’t wait to share more updates with you all! @dulQuer


Interestingly, the film will also mark the first ever collaboration of Sonam with her uncle Sanjay Kapoor, who is playing her father in the film.

The Zoya Factor revolves around Zoya Singh Solanki, an advertising executive who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job and ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team at the Cricket World Cup.

Sonam Kapoor has already started prepping for her role. She will be seen sporting a new look in the film. Being someone who is blessed with long straight silky hair, Sonam will sport a curly look in the film. Taking to Instagram, the star gave fans a glimpse of the work going into getting herself a permanent perm for the film. This is going to be the first time in her career that the actress will be seen sporting curly locks in a film.

Also starring Angad Bedi and Sikandar Kher in key roles, ‘The Zoya Factor’ is slated to hit theatres on April 5, 2019.
