‘Fighter’ box office Day 1: Hrithik-Deepika’s aerial film soars in box office opening day

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Fighter’ was released in theaters on January 25. The aerial action movie received a good response at the box office. The movie is directed by Siddharth Anand, and stars Anil Kapoor, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi in key roles.  Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone have been casted in lead roles for the movie.

‘Fighter’ has left fans spellbound with its aerial stunts scenes of Deepika and Hrithik and the storyline. The film had a great opening on the box office with an earning of Rs 22 crore. The Box Office India has termed the earnings of Fighter on day 1 as ‘decent’ and said that it could have done better as this is the year’s first big-budget movie. The movie is expected to witness a boost in the numbers during the weekend as it was released on a working weekday. ‘Fighter’ might surpass the Rs 100 crore mark in the box office during the extended weekend.

The performance of the film over the extended weekend could play a crucial role in determining its overall box-office performance.
