Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was recently spotted seated behind her bodyguard on a bike, where both of them were not wearing helmets. Soon after the video went viral on social media, many questioned and targeted her for travelling without a helmet. This incident happened hours after megastar Amitabh Bachchan was spotted travelling on a bike with a stranger without a helmet. In both scenarios, neither of them were wearing helmets.
On Monday afternoon, Anushka ditched her car after a tree fell on the road and took a bike to work. As the video went viral, the actress was badly criticised on social media. A user wrote, “What about helmets dude?” Another said, “Na madam ne helmet pehna hai na uske bodyguard ne.” Few people tagged the Mumbai police urging them to take necessary action against Anushka. In reply, Mumbai Police informed that the traffic police have been informed about the same. Their comment read, “We have shared this with traffic branch.”

Earlier, megastar Amitabh Bachchan took a lift from a stranger, whom he fondly called his “ride buddy”, to reach his work location on time. Some social media users also tagged the Mumbai Police with Amitabh Bachchan’s photo of him sitting on a bike without a helmet. A user wrote, “Missing helmets for both rider and pillion. @MumbaiPolice, please take note!”
Amitabh Bachchan recently resumed work after recovering from an injury he sustained while filming his upcoming project “Project K” on the sets.
On the work front, Anushka was last seen in Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. This year, she will be back with Chakda Xpress. It will be her first child since the birth of her daughter.
