Ankita Lokhande recalls not attending Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral for this reason

In a recent conversation that unfolded on the sets of Bigg Boss 17, television actress Ankita Lokhande got emotional while talking about her late ex-boyfriend SSR. Ankita even recalled not attending Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral. During a candid conversation with co-contestant Munawar Faruqui, Ankita Lokhande share why she could not attend Sushant’s funeral, despite encouragement from husband Vicky Jain.
Ankita expressed her emotions when Munawar recited a shayari about heartbreak. She abruptly asked him to stop midway, saying that it affected her deeply. Despite this, she appreciated his world and went on to sing ‘Kaun Tujhe Yun pyaar Karega’ from Sushant’s movie MS Dhoni: The untold story
Munawar revealed his encounter with Sushant at a special screening of MS Dhoni at Yash Raj Studios. He recalled him as a good person. Ankita, recalling the past, mentioned feeling strange using past tense for Sushant. She acknowledged the challenging reality of him no longer being in the world.
When Munawar asked if Ankita knew what went wrong with him, Ankita confirmed and revealed she could not bring herself to attend Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral. She even recalled Vicky encouraging her to go, but Ankita could not find the strength.

Sushant Singh Rajput tragically passed away on June 14, 2020. His body was recovered from his residence in Mumbai. Ankita and Sushant were in a relationship for several years before they decided to part ways. Ankita is now happily married to businessman Vicky Jain. The now husband wife duo are participants in Bigg Boss 17.
