Mumbai: Ever since she entered the industry, Alia Bhatt has always been questioned about her plans of working with father Mahesh Bhatt. And if reports are to be believed, then Alia is all set to star in her father’s next titled ‘Sadak 2’. The film will be a sequel to the 1991 Sanjay Dutt – Pooja Bhatt film Sadak and will have the duo recreate the lead roles. Besides, Alia will also have a crucial role in the sequel which is going to be a surprise. ‘Sadak 2’ is being produced by Alia’s uncle Mukesh Bhatt and marks her first ever collaboration with the Bhatt camp.
According to Filmfare, Mahesh Bhatt had earlier revealed that Sanjay Dutt will be playing the same character he played when he was 34 years old and now the character will be shown in the 21st century with changed circumstances. Pooja Bhatt, on the other hand, will play the female lead opposite Sanjay. The news of Alia agreeing to be a part of her father’s film has excited her fans, who are anxiously waiting for the father-daugther duo to create magic on the silver screen.

On the work front, Alia has left for Bulgaria to shoot for the second schedule of Bramhastra opposite rumoured beau Ranbir Kapoor. Post the success of Raazi, the 25-year-old actress is on cloud nine. She is at the top of her game with some big projects like Kalank, Takht, Gully Boy and Brahmastra in her kitty. Alia has impressed fans and critics with her powerful acting besides giving back-to-back successful films like 2 States, Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya, Kapoor&Sons, Udta Punjab and Dear Zindagi.
