Akshay Kumar becomes brand ambassador of Uttarakhand
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the CM residence in Dehradun on Monday. Following the visit, Dhami has said that Akshay has accepted to work as a brand ambassador of Uttarakhand.
The Uttarakhand CM took to his official Twitter handle to announce the news. In his tweet he wrote, in Hindi which roughly translatest to, “An eminent actor, a source of inspiration for the youth, and my dear friend, Akshay Kumar, was welcomed to the CM residence today. He appreciated the steps taken taken by the government to inspire the youth of the state and assured of all possible xo-operation.”

In a statement to the media, Dhami said, “We had given him (Akshay Kumar) a proposal, he has accepted it. He will also work as a brand ambassador of Uttarakhand.”
