Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor’s collab for Anurag Basu’s next: Filmmaker reacts to rumours
Bollywood actors Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were seen together in Rajkumar Hirani’s 2014 hit ‘PK’ where the latter made a cameo. Fans loved their chemistry and has been waiting to see them together in extended roles together, ever since. Recently, rumours of a possible collaboration of the two superstars for an Anurag Basu film cropped up.
According to the speculations, Anurag is currently developing a two hero script for Aamir and Ranbir.
However, the director has subtly put an end to the rumours through his tweet on Saturday. In his tweet, Anurag wrote, “Woke up to the news of my new film with Amir and Ranbir… Wish it was true!”

As per the reports, Aamir and Ranbir were to join hands for a film, and apparently it was to be bankrolled by Aamir Khan Productions. Furthermore, Anurag Basu has confirmed that he is not working on any project with either of the actors.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha. The Advait Chandan directorial also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya.
On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Shamshera with Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. The movie will hit the big screens on July 22, 2022. Other than that, he has Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt that is all set for release on September 9, this year.
