Stock market today: Nifty 50 hovers around 19,850, Sensex below 66,000
The domestic stock market indices NSE Nifty 50 is inching towards 19,850, while Sensex is a few points below 66,000.
New Delhi: The domestic stock market indices opened in green on Tuesday. The NSE Nifty 50 is inching towards 19,850, while Sensex is a few points below 66,000.
At around 9:15 am, the S&P BSE Sensex rose by 0.08 per cent too trade at 66,023, while the NSE Nifty 50 climbed 0.18 per cent at 19,832.95. However soon after that both the indices fell slightly.
Most of the broader market indices including Nifty Oil and Gas were also trading in green. Nifty Auto were also in positive territory in the early trade. Nifty Bank and Nifty Financial Services were also up marginally.
The top gainers on the Nifty 50 were Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, BPCL, Hero MotoCorp and Hindalco. SBI Life, HCL Tech, Reliance, Infosys and IndusInd Bank were the top losers.
