Gold price hikes for second consecutive day in India; Details here

On December 16, 24 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 62,400, while 22 carat gold (10 grams) has been priced at Rs 57,160 in India.

Bhubaneswar: The price of gold has increased for the second consecutive day in India in the last 24 hours on December 16, 2023. Today, while 24 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 62,400, 22 carat gold (10 grams) has been priced at Rs 57,160. The price has increased by Rs 110 for both 24 carat gold and 22 carat gold.

In Odisha’s capital city, Bhubaneswar, the rates of gold has also seen a spike in gold rates today. On December 16, 2023, 24 carat gold costs Rs 62,890, while 22 carat gold has been priced at Rs 57,650.

Changes were also recorded in 24 carat and 22 carat gold across major cities of India. In Delhi 24 carat gold price recorder to be Rs 63,040 while 22 carat gold priced Rs 57,800. Meanwhile, in Kolkata the 24 carat gold rated Rs 62,890 and 22 carat gold hiked to Rs 57,650.

Going to southern cities, in Mumbai, the prices were recorded to be Rs 62,890 and Rs 57,650 for 24 carat gold and 22 carat gold respectively. Chennai saw a drastic change with Rs 52,285 for 24 carat gold and Rs 47,927 for 22 carat gold.

If we look into the silver rates, it has been priced at Rs 74,000 per kg in India on December 16, 2023. The rates have dropped in the last 24 hours.
