Maruti Suzuki hikes prices of new Celerio, Wagon R, and Baleno by up to Rs 22,000

Maruti Suzuki has hiked the prices of its models. Both its Arena and NEXA products including Alto, Wagon R, S-Presso, Celerio, Swift, Dzire, Vitara Brezza, Eeco, Ertiga, Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, XL6 and S-Cross will see a price jump of 1.3 percent. With this price hike, the prices of the facelifted Baleno have increased as well.

According to the company, it decided to increase the price due to rising input costs.

Maruti Suzuki Second-gen Celerio price hike

Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of the Celerio by up to Rs 11,000. However, the second-from-top ZXi trim has not received any price hike and retains its previous price. While the price of the CNG variant of the Celerio has been hiked by Rs 11,000.

Facelifted Baleno

The prices of the new facelifted Baleno has become pricier by up to Rs 22,000. The top-spec Alpha trim of the Baleno has received the maximum increment.

Facelifted Wagon R

Maruti’s compact hatchback Facelifted WagnorR has become costlier by up to Rs 10,000. With this increment, the facelifted Wagon R’s introductory prices have come to an end.

Maruti Suzuki has also hiked the prices of other Arena and NEXA models as well. The Arena models including Alto, S-Presso has become pricier. The recently facelifted Ertiga with prices ranging from Rs 8.35 lakh to Rs 12.79 lakh has not received any price hike.

Let us tell you that the all variants of the Alto and S-Presso are now available only as the (O) trims as they get standard dual airbags.

Meanwhile, the NEXA’s three models, that is the Ignis, Ciaz, and S-Cross have got a price increment by up to Rs 15,000. Maruti has added the facelifted XL6  in the Nexa the lineup.
